Milestone for the TTS competence centre
Development of the new growth areas for the TTS subsidiaries TANOS and TTS Cleantec is on schedule
A new office and production building has been under construction at the TTS Group site in Illertissen since the ground-breaking ceremony on 14 July 2023. The growth areas underline the market significance of the companies based at the site, TTS Cleantec, which produces state-of-the-art extraction units for the largest TTS Group brand Festool, and the TTS subsidiary TANOS, which develops and sells the renowned systainer® tool case and transport system. The fact that the work is progressing well has now given the parties involved in the construction a reason to celebrate - with an official topping-out ceremony.
Major milestones need to be celebrated. This is also the case with the expansion of the TTS Group's southern German competence centre for extraction technology and workplace organisation. Despite the winter frost, the shell of the building was recently completed, which means that the construction work is still on schedule - and the topping-out ceremony was celebrated on 2 February. In addition to the craftsmen involved and employees of the responsible construction company Goldbeck, numerous well-known representatives of the TTS Group, including CEO Sascha Menges and members of the owner family, as well as representatives of TTS Cleantec and TANOS attended the ceremony. Jürgen Eisen, First Mayor of Illertissen, who had already attended the ground-breaking ceremony for the ambitious construction project last year, was also among the guests of honour.

Ulrich Brunner, Managing Director of TTS Cleantec, emphasised the importance of the extension, which is scheduled for completion at the end of 2024, for the TTS Group: "With a 7,800 square metre production hall, a 2,840 square metre office building and a spacious canteen, we will have the space and area to continue growing. This will enable us to remain an attractive employer in the region." Klaus-Martin Berstecher, Managing Director of systainer® manufacturer TANOS, also praised the positive signals for the future: “The significant increase in administrative space and the doubling of the current production and logistics areas show that we have the necessary infrastructure here on site to continue to be a premium partner for our customers.”
