Sustainability in the sense of pure ABS plastic, 99 per cent recyclability, a long service life with low wear and tear and replaceable individual parts: All of this has always been the ecological foundation of the systainer®.

Our ambitious strategy of making a further contribution to a more climate-friendly future through the use of sustainable materials is based on this foundation.

The launch of a limited first edition of the Systainer³ Eco M 187 made from high-quality ecological recycled material ABS Eco marked the beginning in December 2023. TANOS is now taking the next big step towards a sustainable future by expanding the use of materials to other Systainer³ Eco models. We are taking our customers and partners with us on this journey!

Our contribution to sustainability - High-quality ecological recycled material.

With the new Systainer³ Eco series M 112 to M 337, five packaging solutions have been available since 2024 for even more sustainable organisation and storage of power tools, hand tools or work and consumable materials.

Conservation of resources

The 67% post-consumer recycling (PCR) content in the Systainer³ Eco results in a saving of fossil raw materials of up to 67%.*

CO₂e footprint

The material in the Systainer³ Eco has a 51 % * lower CO₂e footprint ** compared to the Systainer³ made from standard material.

Material resistance

Robust, impact-resistant and temperature-resistant: The product properties of the Systainer³ Eco are in no way inferior to those of the tried and tested ABS.

** The CO₂e footprint measures the total amount of greenhouse gases caused directly and indirectly by an activity, a product or a person. All greenhouse gases are converted into CO₂ equivalents (CO₂e) in order to make their impact comparable.

Like inside.

Inside the Systainer³, a customised range of inserts provides even more protection and organisation. PE foams and thermoformed parts with at least 30% recycled content are also available on request. Eco-materials with even higher recycled content up to 100% bio-PE from GMO-free sugar cane can also be realised if required. The quality properties are of course comparable with the standard materials.

    As a brand ambassador, the Systainer³ Eco offers a wide range of visual customisation options, be it via clearly visible card compartments or a generous presentation area on the inside of the lid.

    The ecological material used in the Systainer³ Eco has just as good product properties as the tried and tested ABS plastic - for example in terms of impact resistance, rigidity and temperature resistance.
